Another Doomsday story that will knock your socks off!

Daimones is a beautiful book about hope and despair in a world that is changed forever. The story feels very real and captures the reader from the first chapter. It is not difficult to put yourself in the main characters shoes, even when his world is turned upside down. You can truly feel his pain and hope. For me, this story was very capturing (I actually dreamed I was in the story myself two nights in a row).”

OK…first of all, I’m a serial killer kind of girl…regarding novels, that is. So Daimones was a totally different read for me. The book was a page turner for me up until Laura entered the picture, and that’s where I had to think outside the box. But..my box sometimes has duct tape on it. I will say this…if science fiction is your cup of tea, you will love this book. The imagination it takes to write this kind of story amazes me.. truly. Editing was superb…especially taking into account a language barrier. All in all, this novel should do very well on the charts.”

I really enjoyed Daimones…especially the ending. Dan and his family wake up one morning after a freak wind storm and discover that, to all intents and purposes, they are alone on Earth. The author really knows how to describe what that might feel like… the disbelief, the anguish, the grief, the frantic search for other survivors. Then, finally, when he and his family do find other survivors- the absolute terror of first contact.”

I truly enjoyed this book. The writing is witty and sharp, and the author has obviously done his research on doomsday theories. In the end, when everything is explained about the First and Second Loss; it’s like watching a marathon of Ancient Aliens, which I absolutely love!”

This is in my favorite list… The novel presents an esoteric vision, driven with incredible expertise from different domains, initiating the reader in physics, geography, and many more, but I would disclose too much… Something that can happen every day, in the John Lennon context that I am stuck with now…’Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.’  A book that will keep you reading continuously, avid for more once you reach the end…”
